HeightSens - Laser Scanner – Excessive Height Warning System

HeightSens protects structures reliably against damage from high vehicles.

HeightSens protects tunnels and underpasses reliably against damage caused by excessively high vehicles. When mounted at the side of the road (centre image), the innovative laser sensor (top image) effectively monitors multiple lanes for any vehicle which exceeds the maximum height limit.

Dangerously high vehicles are detected by multiple metering fields, which must be crossed in order to trigger the alarm. Objects which do not meet the defined minimum height, or which cross only one beam, do not trigger the alarm. This prevents leaves, birds and similar objects from causing false alarms.

Features:

Horizontal metering laser scanner sensor with invisible infrared metering field

Roadside metering across up to three lanes

Freely definable metering fields and minimum object height provide optimum protection against false alarms
